According to the publisher they have now received the copies back from the printers, which they shipped me a copy Thursday last week. This means that over the next week or so the book should be appearing in the online stores already mentioned in the last post. This page will be updated when the book becomes available in the appropriate stores, if you see if online or in a shop, please let me know.

The completed draft of the book was uploaded last weekend, and the completed CD-ROM was also finished. The whole manuscript will be sent to an experienced technical reviewer who will check the content, order of chapters and CD-ROM contents then advise back of any required changes. Once that has happened (in about two weeks time), I will need to make the relevant changes and then upload the final changes. At this stage the book goes into production, CRM will make a special printed copy which will be of the exact way it will look printed and send that to me for review. I will then have to check for any final problems, which once this is approved it will go to print. So I can now take a rest on this project for a couple of weeks, and then it will be hard work again, because to ensure it goes to print as soon as possible requires all of the checks to get done as soon as possible.

Im nearly at the halfway point writing wise, and the book has now appeared on Charles Rivers website, with a release date of April 2007. Still seems such a long way away, but considering I started in September, time seems to be flying by.
